Edwyn has extensive auditing experience within the financial services sector with specialised knowledge in retail and stockbroking, treasury, corporate and investment banking and securities trading. Before leaving KPMG in 2006 to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer – Barclays Africa, Edwyn was the partner in charge of the Bank Audit Division of Financial Services. Prior to joining Absa Insurance in 2009 as Managing Director, Edwyn was the Chief Financial Officer for Absa Financial Services during 2007 and assumed further responsibility as the Chief Operating Officer from July 2008.
Collin joined from Absa Insurance Company where he was Chief Operations Officer and was responsible for the delivery of business change, procurement, business performance, operational systems and customer services. Prior to joining Absa Insurance Company as the General Manager: Claims Cost Control, Collin was Divisional Manager at Discovery Health where he was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for the Health Claims Processing unit.
Dziki was appointed as Chief Executive Officer effective from 1 September 2015. Dziki’s last two roles as Managing Director of Botswana Insurance Company and Marsh Botswana have provided him with a deep understanding of the short-term insurance market in Botswana. As a values-driven leader, Dziki has an appreciation for fostering and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with brokers and customers.
Dr Shabani Ndzinge is a leader, an academic, financial analyst and former executive with over 30 years’ experience. He has a keen interest in governance, risk and assurance as well as a profound interest in tourism having contributed to the development of the hospitality industry in Botswana through his successful interventions as an investor and member of several Boards of Directors of organisations that played a significant role in the hospitality industry. Dr Ndzinge also demonstrated an interest in conservation by being one of the key people who spearheaded the development of the Harry Oppenheimer Okavango Research Centre (HOORC), now Okavango Research Institute (ORI), through the University of Botswana.
