War & Hostilities Travel Cover Update, effective 28 February 2026
Our thoughts are with all those affected by the developing conflict in the Middle East.
As with most travel insurance policies, Bryte’s policies include a standard exclusion for losses arising directly or indirectly from war or war-like events.
What is covered
If unexpected hostilities break out after your trip starts, your cover remains active for 7 days. Emergency medical assistance still applies during this time.
Cover applies only if you’re not actively involved in the event.
What is not covered
Any claims related to war (e.g., cancellations, postponements, travel delays or public transport carrier disruption) are not covered. No cover applies if you’re actively serving in the military, police, or similar organisations.
For updates, please follow official travel advisories and your airline’s guidance.
